Danceland At Dalbys moves to Leigh On Sea

Danceland at Dalbys has been part of the dance world since 1976, supplying clothing, shoes and accessories to local schools and dancers who’ve gone on to perform professionally across the UK and beyond.
In August 2024, long-time staff member Nicola Howell – who first joined the shop at just 14 – took over the business from former owners Norma and Tony Silverstein. Nicola is now joined by her sister Lisa Hyde, and together with their dedicated team they’ve brought Danceland at Dalbys to its new home in Leigh.
The shop continues its proud tradition, stocking everything for ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, ballroom, street, and now yoga and pilates too. Welcomed warmly into the community by Leigh Road Baptist Church, the shop is now located at 195 Leigh Road.
Nicola and Lisa are committed to keeping Danceland at Dalbys at the heart of the dance community, serving generations of dancers to come. Young or old, please pop in and have a look, say Hi, and talk to us about everything dance!
